Heading towards a million balls for King Power’s ‘Million Balls, Million Powers, Creating Dreams for Thai Children’ project
Recently, Mr. Sarin Drongsuwan, Director of Corporate Communications, King Power Group, presided over the ceremony to hand out footballs to children at the Krap Yai Municipality Kindergarten in Ratchaburi Province. Leesaw-Teerapat Winothai, a former Thai national team player, joined the football clinic activity to share his experience so that the children could practice their football skills professionally for Thai youth up close. More than 600 Thai youth from 34 schools in Ratchaburi Province and neighboring provinces traveled to join the event.
The ‘Million Balls, Million Powers, Creating Dreams for Thai Children’ project, which traveled to create happiness throughout Thailand, handed out footballs in 77 provinces. The goal is to hand out 1,000,000 footballs so that youth can use them to practice, develop their skills, and lay the foundation for becoming professional footballers in the future. Recently, the countdown to the 1,000,000th ball was held by organizing an activity to hand out international standard footballs. Currently, the project has handed out more than 970,000 footballs.
